How It Works:
- Install and activate the plugin
- Navigate to the CMGalaxy menu in your WordPress admin
- Click Connect to automatically generate API credentials and register your store
- Your WooCommerce store is now synced with CMGalaxy
Third-Party Service Disclosure:
This plugin transmits data to the CMGalaxy API (a service operated by CMGalaxy at https://cmgalaxy.com) to register your store and enable synchronisation. The following data is sent on connection:
- Your store URL
- A WooCommerce read-only consumer key and consumer secret (auto-generated by this plugin)
No personal customer data is sent during the connection step. Data transmitted after connection is governed by your CMGalaxy account settings.
Instalação
- Upload the
cmgalaxy-connectorfolder to the/wp-content/plugins/directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress Plugins screen directly. - Activate the plugin through the “Plugins” screen in WordPress.
- Navigate to the “CMGalaxy” menu item in your WordPress admin sidebar.
- Click the “Connect” button to connect your WooCommerce store.
Requirements:
- WordPress 5.8 or higher
- PHP 7.4 or higher
- WooCommerce plugin must be installed and activated

Does this plugin require WooCommerce?

Yes. CMGalaxy Connector requires WooCommerce to be installed and active. It creates WooCommerce REST API keys to enable store synchronization.

What data is sent to CMGalaxy?

When you connect your store, the plugin sends your store URL, a generated WooCommerce consumer key, and consumer secret to the CMGalaxy API. This allows CMGalaxy to securely access your store data for synchronization.

Can I disconnect my store?

Yes. Click the “Disconnect” button on the CMGalaxy settings page. This removes the connection data stored locally. Note that you may also need to revoke the API key from WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > REST API.

Is my data secure?

All communication with the CMGalaxy API is done over HTTPS. API credentials are stored securely in your WordPress database and are only transmitted during the initial connection setup.

What permissions does the API key have?

The generated WooCommerce API key has read-only permissions. CMGalaxy can read product and order data but cannot modify your store.
